YouTube™ for TV is a Chrome extension developed by usefulwebtech. It is a free add-on that allows users to access the YouTube™ TV App, also known as YouTube™ Leanback, from their regular browser.
This extension is particularly useful because it enables remote control of the YouTube™ TV App through a tablet or smartphone running the YouTube™ app. This feature enhances the user experience by providing seamless navigation and control of the app.
Previously, access to YouTube™ TV App was restricted on several non-whitelisted devices, including desktops and Macs, starting from October 2, 2019. However, this extension provides a solution to bypass those restrictions and enjoy the YouTube™ TV App on any device.
